Í am working on a friends computer in Spain. It has Vista - was updated to
SP1 in January and crashed in the summer. A "techie" fixed it but now it tries every day to download SP1 and fails. I see on Google that many people had this problem in the summer but all is quiet now - how was it eventually fixed? I´ve done the System Readiness update and deleted the system requirements folder - but they make no difference. It seems not to be able to download any updates until SP1 has installed. Or perhaps there are no routine Vista updates (I use XP in the UK)? |
