Hi,
Click start, type 'internet explorer' into the search line. One of the menu options will be to load it with 'no addons', try this one. If it works, then the problem is with a plugin, and you will need to disable those that are loading with IE in the control panel/internet options/programs tab/manage addons. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Phed" <notonyourlife@me.com> wrote in message news:7D097C8E-C2D8-4383-90F1-E4C5DDD81CB2@microsoft.com... > Hi > > I have vista ultimate 64 bit but almost every time i open internet > explorer it will crash and i get the message the it is not working. > > Is there someone else who is getting this problem? > > Doug |

Don't think so bud, I have been running Vista Ultimate 64 bit since late Feb and have yet to experience a program freeze much less a system crash. Has been rock solid for me. -- Don |

For free you can download the latest version of Firefox and then ad a bunch of plugins for all sort of aids and have a great browser. You do not even have to uninstall IE to try it. It is really great. |
