When I use Windows Explorer to view my desired files, the files show in the
right pane in different modes: doc, photo & music. It appears to me they are in random. If I view the files arranged in photo mode, how can I change it back to doc mode. Thanks, Scott |

Hello Scott, You can do this by changing the folder template to the one you like instead. This tutorial will help show you how to. http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/77...templates.html'' (http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/77...templates.html) If Vista will not remember your settings afterwards, then use Method Two in this tutorial to reset the folder views so Vista will remember your new changed again. http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/70...-settings.html Hope this helps, Shawn Scott;914676 Wrote: > When I use Windows Explorer to view my desired files, the files show in > the > right pane in different modes: doc, photo & music. Shawn,
Perhaps you can answer this question for me. In Windows Explorer in the XP operating system you could have Windows Explorer open every time to the C:\ drive by pointing the Properties of the icon target to: %SystemRoot%\explorer.scf In Vista, Windows Explorer always opens to the desktop as the focus. Is there a way to get Windows Explorer and Vista to open to the C drive as the focus? Morty |
