Default One last post re Christy.

There's currently no mention on Caring Bridge re Christy having passed
on but reading the messages here makes me believe she actually *has*
gone, and I just wanted to pass on my condolences via the newsgroup.

Obviously I never 'chatted' to Christy either in the newsgroup or IRC
but I've read the journal and looked back in the archives.

It's sad that such a vibrant and well loved person should have to
succumb to such a debilitating illness at such a young age.

Maybe the tragedy of this young woman's life and death will make those
who pursue Peter Lucas through the newsgroups give thought to just how
short life can be and whether all the malice is really necessary. It
might even make Peter himself think on his own mortality and perhaps
make him into a better person. If something as simple as that were to
happen then Christy's lasting legacy to the group would at least have
been one that brought peace.

Lastly... and hard as I find it to say... I'd like to thank Peter for
bringing Christy's condition to my attention through his postings to
rfc. Her story has touched me deeply. I hope she finds peace and love
in the hereafter.

And now I'm away again.

Live good lives folks... none of us know the hour or the minute the
bell will toll for us!!
